Frequently Asked Questions About Strikes
While we do not want to strike, the School Board may leave us with no viable alternative other than rolling over, effectively giving up on the collective bargaining process. Unless public pressure can bring the School Board to the bargaining table with a commitment to reach a rational and reasonable settlement that respects the work that our members do every single day. We remain ready and willing to bargain.
It is natural that members have many questions related to a potential strike, should a majority of our members vote to authorize one.
